- Laboratori Nazionali di Legnaro, July 14-18, 2025
INSPYRE 2025 will have two editions: one will be held at Frascati National Laboratory in April 2025 and one at Legnaro National Laboratory in July. The two schools will have different program and speakers, but both will focus on modern physics and INFN research through lectures, discussions with researchers, interactive activities and experiments. Students may participate in only one edition.
INSPYRE School can be attended by Italian and foreign high school students who are 16 years of age or older and in their final two years. The Legnaro School will accommodate 28 students; the Frascati School will accommodate 40 students.
The two Schools will be alternative: it will be possible to apply for only one of the two editions. Applications should be submitted through a single form, in which candidates should indicate the edition of their interest. Only one application per applicant can be submitted. Any duplicate applications will be discarded.
The Application will open on November 1.
Applications must be submitted by a professor/school director supporting their students’ candidacy by filling out an appropriate form for each student.
The form will require two documents to be attached:
- A motivation letter (max 1 page) written by candidate themselves describing the reasons for wanting to attend INSPYRE school
- A recommendation letter (max 1 page) written by a teacher or the school director, describing the reasons why the candidate is worthy of participating in the school
Applications which contain documents longer than one page will not be taken into consideration. The selection will pay attention to gender equality and the geographical distribution of participants.
Possession of an English language certification B2 or equivalent, although not mandatory, is highly recommended.
Deadline for applications is November 30th. Applications which should reach us after this date will not be taken into consideration.
Candidates will be informed of the acceptance/reject of their application in the first half of January 2025.
